Bill Solz LCSW, CASAC – Director
As a clinical social worker and credentialed alcohol and substance abuse counselor, Bill Solz has helped individuals and families overcome problems and regain control of their lives.
He is certified in EMDR and Havening and has developed expertise in Thought Field Therapy, Developmental Needs Meeting Strategy, and mediation.
In addition, he has more than 30 years of experience working with children and adolescents in diagnostic, residential, and school settings.
Bill Solz is a certified anger resolution therapist who has been able to successfully treat both court mandated and non mandated clients.
He is also trained in domestic violence and is currently the director of CHANGES!, a male batterers intervention program.
Simone Solz Leo, LMSW
Simone Solz Leo is a bilingual Spanish speaking social worker who received her graduate degree from Fordham University.
Simone is currently the Director of the National Association of Social Workers Nassau County Division.
Simone has been practicing social work since 2004, working with children, adolescents, adults and families in an array of settings.
She also provides anger management counseling and utilizes stress reducing techniques such as Thought Field Therapy, yoga, and meditation.
She has a rich background working with children and families through the YES Community Counseling Center and the Glen Cove After School Program.
She is currently the regional disaster volunteer coordinator at the Long Island Volunteer Center and is actively involved with the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of America.
